What is Revalo?
Revalo is a French company founded in 2022 that specialises in taking back business IT equipment. It collects companies’ laptops, smartphones and tablets, wipes the data with certified erasure, then refurbishes or recycles every device.
Do you work with individuals?
No. Revalo works only with businesses and public bodies, from small companies to large groups.
Which countries do you collect in?
Revalo currently collects in more than 10 countries on 3 continents: France, Belgium, Luxembourg, Germany, Spain, Portugal, Italy, the United Kingdom, the United States and China. In practice, we can organise a take-back almost anywhere. You keep the same contact.
Where is my equipment refurbished?
In most cases, in the country where it was collected. What is collected in the United States stays in the United States, and what is collected in the United Kingdom stays in the United Kingdom. This makes local reuse easier and keeps logistics simple.
Do we need to pack the equipment?
It is optional, but gather it in one spot on your site. If it is already packed (boxes, pallets…), we collect it as it is. If not, our teams can pack it on site as a paid option.
How should I prepare my equipment before refurbishment?
Before collection, sign out of the accounts set up on each device: Apple ID and Find My (iCloud), Google account, Samsung Knox. Also remove the devices from your MDM (Apple Business Manager, Intune…). Otherwise the device stays locked and cannot be refurbished. You can also reset the devices: certified erasure is carried out afterwards in every case.
Is there a minimum volume?
From around 5 devices, and every request is assessed case by case. Send us your list and we will get back to you quickly.
What do I need to prepare?
A list of your devices, even a rough one. We take care of the rest.
How is my data erased?
Every drive and smartphone is wiped with certified software suited to the device. A drive that cannot be wiped is physically destroyed. You receive the erasure certificates.
What happens to devices that are too old?
They are recycled through an approved channel and stay traced to the end.
How long does a take-back take?
Allow about 48 hours to receive a tailored solution, about 7 days to organise the collection, and about 6 weeks to receive all the documents: erasure certificates, audit report and CO2 report.
How much does an IT equipment take-back cost?
It depends on your fleet. The age, condition and volume of your devices determine their residual value: recent equipment can cover the cost of the take-back, or even generate a return, while older or broken equipment may require a contribution. On-site packing is a paid option. Send us your list: you receive a clear proposal within about 48 hours, before any commitment.
