Revalo at the heart of today's challenges

The world’s fastest-growing waste is sitting in your offices.

Electronic equipment is replaced fast and rarely recycled. Reuse is the most direct way to reduce its impact.

62 Mt

of e-waste generated worldwide in 2022. Only 22.3% was formally collected and recycled.

of the carbon footprint of digital in France comes from end-user devices, mostly from making them.

Challenges

The challenges we take on.

Too little supply in France

Refurbishment in France lacks stock: demand is strong, local supply too weak. Refurbishers often have to source from North America or Asia. Revalo unlocks the equipment held by French companies to secure supply, raise volumes and bring refurbished devices to everyone.

Solutions out of reach for SMEs

Today’s collection services are expensive: billed per unit or per kilo, with little transparency. The result is slow adoption, especially among SMEs. At Revalo, the take-back is funded by the residual value of the equipment: a win-win model that fits companies’ constraints.

Responsible digital as a CSR lever

REEN, AGEC, CSRD: companies face new obligations, from CO2 reporting to non-financial disclosure. Collecting and refurbishing devices is a major, still under-used CSR lever, with substantial carbon savings.

Refurbishing more

Refurbished devices will grow strongly in Europe over the next 10 years. Yet SMEs, which employ 10 million people in France, are left out for lack of a suitable solution. Revalo gives them a simple, reliable and effective offer.

Reuse is no longer optional. It is an obligation.

CSRD

Large companies must disclose their emissions, including those linked to their equipment (ESRS E1).

AGEC law

France’s anti-waste law requires public buyers to source a share of their equipment from reuse.

GDPR

All data must be provably erased before a device leaves the company.
