What an NYC pickup involves
Freight elevators and COIs
Most Manhattan buildings require a reserved freight elevator, a loading-dock slot and a certificate of insurance. We coordinate these requirements with your building ahead of the pickup.
Congestion pricing zone
Pickups below 60th Street are planned around the congestion relief zone and building delivery windows.
SHIELD Act-ready
New York’s SHIELD Act expects reasonable safeguards, including secure disposal. You get a certificate of data destruction per device.
E-waste, data security and New York law
Since 2015, New York State’s Electronic Equipment Recycling and Reuse Act has banned covered electronics from the trash: business equipment has to be reused or recycled. We put reuse first, and send anything beyond repair to a qualified recycler.
Every asset is tracked by serial number from your floor to the refurbishment facility. Data is wiped to NIST 800-88, and you receive certificates, an audit report and a CO2 report for your ESG disclosures.

Can you work with our building’s freight elevator rules?
Yes. We coordinate the freight elevator and dock reservation, and the building’s insurance requirements, with your facilities team, then work inside the approved time window.
Is the equipment refurbished in the US?
Yes. It is refurbished by a Revalo partner in the United States. Only equipment that cannot be reused is recycled.
How fast can you do a pickup in Manhattan?
